February 2010 has not been a good month for us. February 5 we lost Marty's Father and now we are morning the loss of our sweet Duke. On Wednesday February 17 Duke earned his heavenly angel wings.
We had no idea that he was ill. Up until Sunday the 14th of February he was his usual happy self. On Wednesday we discovered that he was liver cancer and made the difficult decision to let him go.
Duke was a wonderful companion and is missed by all in our home.
He will be waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.
